.:new life:.

so i realize i haven't blogged in some time, but it's all good. the maroon5 meet and greet was awesome! i made a new friend, she's very cool and total sweetheart. my cousin has gone back to michigan, so i'm enjoying a few moments of rest. even though i should be either sleeping, reading or writing, or whatever else i must get done, i'm reading up on Buddha. i didn't go to mass today (oh no, the catholic police are going to get me and take away my membership!), but i figure reading up on the Buddha is pretty good, and spiritual. there's a lot to learn from the east. and if not from the east, then at least read up on some philosophers. even though many philosophers disagree, or believe what they is much better than what the others say, there's still magic in their words. fulfilling moments in life come not in winning a game or making millions of dollars, but in good conversations. yes, winning a game and making millions of dollars--these things are fulfilling, but try engaging someone in a good, philosophical discussion..that's when you'll learn more about yourself (of course, i must beg the question, do you have a 'self'?), and more about life. and if you don't think you've learned anything, what have you lost? maybe some time, but then again you lose time to mindless things like the TV any how.
